The Buzzword of the Day for 04/20/2014 is:

    magnolia (noun)

    \mag-NOHL-yuh\

    What does it mean?

: any of a genus of North American and Asian trees or tall shrubs having usually showy white, yellow, rose, or purple flowers that appear before or sometimes with the leaves in the spring

    How do you use it?

One sunny spring morning, a light breeze carried the fragrance of the blooming magnolias into our living room.

    Are you a word wiz?

Spring is here and soon the magnolias will be blooming. Where do you think the word "magnolia" sprang from?
